GO/wr is a web interface to the GO (Gene Ontology) database.

Web resource

This website allows traditional access for humans using a browser. It also exposes a RESTful web service for programmatic access. Its design is based on a Resource-Oriented Architecture (ROA), which makes it unusually simple for a user to write programs that access the data. See the tutorial for some examples.

The current database was updated 2009-10-18 from the official GO website.

Note that the copyright notice on these pages does not apply to the data content, only to the design and implementation of this website.

Access and privacy policy

Access is free for low-volume usage by anyone. Access is logged by IP number. The log is used only for site resource management, and will not be revealed to other parties. Avatar Software AB reserves the right to request a fee for high-volume usage.
